Roulette Tips on How to Play the Outside - Online Roulette

Whether you are playing online Roulette or in a Las Vegas casino, you have the choice to either place on the "inside" or on the "outside". They represent different parts of the betting table on a Roulette board where bets are placed.

The "inside" is associated with the numbers 0, 00 and 1-36. These fields are played with specific chips and assigned to each player at a table. For every accurate prediction, the payouts on these are 37:1.

The "outside" is associated with the part of the online Roulette board where players may place bets which may have greater odds of winning, while at the same time, offer smaller payouts.

Different Kinds of Bets & Payouts

Numbers on the "Outside":

Number bets don’t offer no compensation to the color (black or red) and lose automatically if 0 or 00 is rolled.

Odd or Even – Players have to bet on whether the ball will hit on an Odd number or an Even number.

1 – 18 Players bet that the ball will hit on a number, anywhere from 1 – 18 inclusive.

19 – 36 – Players bet that the ball will hit on a number from 19 – 36 inclusive.

Dozen Bets – Players bet that the ball will land in either the first 12 (1-12), the second 12 (13-24), or the third 12 (25-36).

Column Bets – Players bet that the ball will hit the predicted column.

Colors:

Black or Red – The player can bet that the ball will hit on either Red or Black and it doesn’t matter what numbers are in the game. However, a color bet loses if the ball hits on a 0 or a 00.

Betting on Black or Red renders a pay out of 1:1.

We have covered the essentials of outside bets and it may not make much sense now but the idea usually sinks in after a few goes. If you’re just getting started playing online Roulette, it may be the perfect game for you since the payouts are simple to tally and the results are easy to tell.
